ENGINEERING IS A STRATEGIC MANUFACTURING PARTNER FOR INEOS ELECTROCHEMICAL SOLUTIONS.
Accura Engineering, part of the Connexion Technologies group of companies, has expanded its relationship with INEOS Electrochemical Solutions through a new contract for the supply of high-value manufacturing equipment and services to the chemicals manufacturing industry. The long-term manufacturing agreement has enabled further investment in Accura Engineering’s Willenhall facility and secured high-quality jobs.
INEOS Electrochemical Solutions, part of the INEOS group of companies, is a supplier of membrane electrolyser technology to the global chlor-alkali market. The Chlorine and Caustic Soda produced are globally strategic commodities that are sold into a wide variety of industrial applications across sectors such as water treatment, building and construction, detergents, food production, electronics and pharmaceuticals. INEOS electrochemical cells contain key sub-assemblies manufactured by Accura Engineering’s dedicated production facility in Willenhall; this high-technology facility utilises highly automated robotic production cells to produce critical components, essential to the production of chlorine and caustic soda.
To support continued business growth, INEOS have signed an agreement with Accura Engineering to deliver a service and maintenance facility for its membrane electrolyser technologies. The agreement has seen Accura Engineering expand their existing facility and has secured 10 jobs in Wolverhampton. This long-term commitment has enabled Accura Engineering to invest further in their people and processes and demonstrates the level of manufacturing excellence within the Black Country.
